Howl-o-ween Pawrade
This October 17th, Ruff Start will have a booth at the farmers market; this includes games, prizes, raffle draws, a photobooth, free treats and our annual Howl-O-Ween pet parade.
So start planning your cute pups’ costumes for this year’s fourth annual Howl-O-Ween pet parade!! Dress up your dog and join us as we show off the pawesome costumes at 11am. At our booth there will be a photobooth with fall themed decor. Amazing Wag Swag available at our booth. We will be at the farmers market from 8:30am-12:30pm. join us in some paw-sitively adorable costumes.
WEEKLY MEAT DRAWS
Starting September 26th there will be a weekly 50/50 meat draw sponsored by The Men’s Shed every Saturday from 2-4pm at the Rockin Firken! This will be happening every Saturday for 33 weeks! The proceeds go to Ruff Start. Be sure to come by!
FALL ONLINE AUCTION
Our fall auction is right around the corner & we are now collecting items to make this our best event yet!! We gratefully accept anything new or gently used (except clothing & large furniture). Items such as: home decor, small appliances, books, pets supplies, puzzles, GC’s - we would greatly appreciate them all! Items can be dropped off at 731 Victoria Street (weekdays) or we would be happy to pick up. Just send an email to kamloopsruffstartrescue@gmail.com to make arrangements.
The proceeds from these auctions go directly to helping save the lives of many dogs throughout the year. On average, a dog coming into the rescue costs us $1,700 so these are the most important and major fundraising events for us during the year. We truly appreciate the support of our donors & bidders! With your help, we have saved the lives of over 600 dogs in the past 7 years!
